Fulfilling Her Grandfather's Final Wish

Latora dropped out of high school due to difficult situations, but her grandfather's last wish was for her to go back to school and get her diploma, and she didn't let him down.

After attempting her HISET a few years back, she came to Goodwill Acadiana in 2024 and continued to persevere, passing her final exam last week!

Now pregnant with her third baby boy, Latora credits her children for being her motivation! Once she walks across South Louisiana Community College's graduation stage this week, she plans to enroll in one of Infinity College's nursing programs 💙

Latora, we are endlessly proud of you, and we know your grandfather is looking down on you and smiling! You are a shining example of what determination can achieve, and we can't wait to celebrate you at graduation.
