More Than a Print Shop
In February 2026, Goodwill Acadiana had their ribbon cutting for something Acadiana has never seen before: a print shop built around people, not fabrics. The idea came from a Goodwill in Florida that proved a print shop could fill orders and create meaningful jobs. Goodwill Acadiana took this inspiration and made it local, launching GoodPrints right here in our community!
But you may be wondering, "Why would Goodwill Acadiana need a print shop?" GoodPrints' purpose is to restore independence for people with disabilities. That's what makes GoodPrints different from other print shops and why we're so passionate about the work we do.
The People Behind the Prints
The people behind your orders are the most important part. They're individuals with disabilities in our community looking for purposeful work and a way to build something meaningful for themselves. Through hands-on training in screen printing and embroidery, they're gaining real-world experience that translates into lasting careers. Every order placed at GoodPrints is an opportunity for someone in your community to grow, work, and thrive. It's a different pace and a better purpose.
As one of GoodPrints' own, Carmen brings energy and heart to everything she does, from operating the machinery to supporting the people alongside her. She has found something beyond a job - she's found people who get her and a place where she can be her true self:
"It's okay to be different, to learn your own pace and how to be your unique self, from top to bottom. I can't sit down and not be myself."
Before joining GoodPrints, she was deeply involved in her community. At St. Thomas More Catholic High School, she served in Campus Ministries. At the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, she took on even more as a Monday sacristan and Parish Life Intern at Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church and was a proud member of the UL LIFE Program (a program dedicated to inclusive education for all students)! She graduated this past May, and she's just getting started.
She's found purpose in the work she does and is very happy to put her best foot forward in every task she's given, "Now I get to be with amazing people. I understand them and they understand me!" When you use our services at GoodPrints, your supporting local people like Carmen!

Our Customer Focus
At GoodPrints, we offer custom embroidery and screen printing on just about any clothing or accessories, like shirts, hoodies, hats, book bags, pants, and more. You bring the vision, and our team brings it to life. And because our mission isn't to turn a profit, our prices are designed to be affordable. Every dollar stays local and goes back into the work we do right here in Acadiana.
A lot of people assume Goodwill is one big national organization. It's actually the opposite! Goodwill operates through 150+ independent, locally run agencies across the country, like Goodwill Acadiana! That means when you order from GoodPrints, you're supporting a local business, local jobs, and a local mission.
Organizations and businesses like Catholic Charities of Acadiana, Vermilionville, St. Thomas More Catholic High School, and more have used our services because they're drawn in by the quality, price, and knowledge that their purchase is doing something bigger than just filling an order.
