Emotional Story: Failure is Not an Option

🎉 Join us in celebrating Mary - a mom, local school bus driver, and new graduate!

Mary's brother passed away when she was young, and life changes surrounding his passing forced her out of high school. Even through her struggles, she was determined to not let that moment define her.

She heard about our HiSET program from her other brother, who graduated from our program in 2018. She took two of the tests a few years ago, and after joining our program, she passed the remaining three in less than a month!

She's deciding what she wants to do next, and in the meantime, she's celebrating her achievement alongside her husband and daughter, who she wanted to inspire to follow in her mom's footsteps - even when times get tough 💙

When asked one thing she wanted to make sure Acadiana heard, she said: "Failure is not an option."

Mary, your motivation and care for others shines bright. We're so proud of you for overcoming the obstacles in your path, and we know that you're going to do so many more amazing things. We're cheering for you!
