🎉 Join us in celebrating Courtney - a mother who proved to herself what she can do!
By ninth grade, Courtney felt ready to step away from school, and her life became centered around caring for her family. She's the wife of a firefighter and the proud mom of three children, and for years her focus was on supporting those she loved, even while quietly carrying a goal she had not yet fulfilled.
Eventually, she decided it was her time to return to education. Fear initially held her back, and she worried she may not pass the exams. Still, she chose to move forward.
Courtney began testing in mid-January and completed all of her HiSET exams by mid-March without any additional learning assistance. In just two months, she proved to herself what had been true all along!
When asked what made this achievement special, she shared that it meant the most because it mattered so deeply to her kids. She often felt like she never finished anything. Now, she can proudly say that she did 💙
Her message to others is this: “If you think long, you think wrong.”
Courtney, your courage, dedication, and love for your family are inspiring. We are so proud to celebrate this milestone with you!
To our community: YOU made this possible. Your donations are so much more than items. They're second chances, and Courtney is proof 🫶
